Elijah’s Story

Elijah’s Open Arms Foundation was created in loving memory of Elijah Ray Richmond, born July 15, 2022, a child whose life, though brief, changed the hearts of everyone around him.

What began as a deeply personal loss grew into a mission to bring hope, compassion, and support to mothers and children who need it most.

Through Elijah’s legacy, we are working to create safe beginnings and renewed hope for families facing difficult journeys by opening our home and providing shelter, support, and compassion to displaced mothers and their children.

Elijah’s Open Arms Foundation exists to provide safe housing, compassion, and stability to displaced mothers and their children. Through Elijah’s legacy, we open our arms and our home to families who need safety, support, and a place to begin again.

COMMUNITY & SUPPORT

Through personalized outreach, families receive compassionate support, resource navigation, baby essentials, maternal support, and connections to services that help them move toward stability.

OUR FUTURE HOME

We are working toward opening a safe, supportive residential home where mothers and their children can find stability, rebuild, and prepare for a new beginning.

SAFE BEGINNINGS

We provide ongoing support to pregnant mothers and mothers with young children facing hardship, helping them access essential resources, guidance, and a village they can count on.
